IVC is committed to all of our customers to protect their Privacy.
To protect our customers’ personal information, we are taking all reasonable steps to make sure the information stored is safe and secure to fully comply with all Canadian privacy laws and regulations.

Who are the people involved with Privacy Policy in IVC?
All the policies and procedures related to the privacy are approved by our CEO.
IVC Quality Control (QC) department is also looking at the privacy compliance, as the QC department is monitoring daily operations that include collection, use, and disclosure of customers’ personal information.
Customer Relations Department under Senior Manager is the escalation contact for any concern related to the IVC privacy policy.
Why does IVC collect customer’s personal information?
IVC needs to collect your personal information to help manage business operations for the following reasons:
· To deliver you the products and services that you have purchased from us, and complete transaction for the products and services.
· To understand your needs and make customized information available regarding other products and services offered by IVC, our agents, dealers and related companies or trusted third parties that may interest you.
· To provide tailored services to you.
· To perform analytics, administer surveys, or request feedback to improve and manage our relationship with you.
· To ensure IVC's network is functioning and protect the integrity of our network.
· To confirm or authenticate your identity and ensure your information is correct and up-to-date.
· To comply with the legal obligations and regulatory requirements.
We will also collect information from a third-party credit agency or other IVC’ companies and affiliates, to manage credit and business risks; collect an outstanding debt; detect, prevent, manage, and investigate fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
We may use your personal information to evaluate your eligibility for other IVC products or services and IVC’s affiliate companies.
How do IVC obtain your consent?
Once you sign up and use any IVC products or services, by default, you are giving us your consent to use your personal information which may be implied or expressed through written, oral, electronic or any other method of communication.
However, you can also with-hold such consent which would also mean that we won’t be able continue to provide you certain products and services.
What can IVC do with my personal information?
IVC will only use your account and personal information for the purpose it was collected for. For example, we may use your information in the following ways:
· To contact you in order to provide technical support or update for billing or notice;
· To offer you products and services from other IVC’ companies or trusted parties that we think you may find attractive.
· To provide geo-location services that will send you offers and promotions from carefully chosen third parties based on your current and historical personal location information.
· To allow other IVC’ companies to directly provide you offers and promotions available for their products and services.

When will IVC disclose your information?
We would need your consent or pursuant to a legal power to disclose your information to any authorized party only.
Typically, we won’t disclose your information in the following scenarios:
· Any person or organization that contact us requesting for your account or personal information on behalf of you and without your formal authorization in writing;
· Any person who contacts us requesting for your account or personal information claiming to be a Legal Authority without proper identification;
· Any third party claiming Copyright infringement and requests for your account and personal information based on the IP address provided with the time and date without a court order.
· We will not provide your account and personal information to any other government body and its agencies other than the Canada;
We will only disclose your personal information to a person or organization outside the IVC organization without your consent in the following limited circumstances:
· To a person who, in our reasonable judgement, is seeking the information as your agent with a proper authorization in writing.
· To other telephone companies, for the purpose of porting the number in & out.
· To a company involved in supplying phone directory-related services such as yellow pages or white pages.
· To a service provider or other agent retained by us, such as a credit reporting agency, account management, collection of past due bills on your account or to evaluate your credit worthiness.
· To a service provider or third party that is performing administrative functions for us to manage our customer accounts.
· To another organization for fraud prevention, detection or investigation, if seeking consent from you would compromise the investigation.
· To a law enforcement agency whenever we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have knowingly supplied us with false or misleading information or are otherwise involved in any unlawful activities.
· To a public authority or their agent, in case of any emergency like, if a public authority has determined that there is an imminent or unfolding danger that threatens the life, health or security of an individual and that the danger could be avoided or minimized by disclosure of the information.
· To a third party who may be interested in buying IVC assets and customer’s personal information must be shared in order to assess the business transaction.
· To a public authority or its agent or a third party who has obtained the permission from the concerned authorities such as a court order.
We will disclose information about your credit behaviour to credit reporting agencies or parties collecting outstanding debt.
Your personal and account information may also be shared with other IVC’ companies or affiliates.
We may also erase, aggregate or disguise information about our customers to
identify trends, manage our business, develop statistical information,
understand how we are performing or develop relevant products, services and
offers. Such information may also be shared with the third parties for
other analytical purposes but we won’t personally identify any individual.
What if I do not agree with the accuracy of my personal information with IVC?
IVC ensures that customer information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You can also request to review the information to make sure it’s correct at any time. You can always challenge its accuracy and completeness, and even request amendments if necessary by contacting our Customer Relations Department.
How long will IVC retain my personal information?
IVC will only retain your personal or account information as long as necessary, to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or for the existing customers to access their account information at any time. Information that is no longer required by us will be deleted or erased from our data.
Where will my personal information be stored?
Account and personal information about our customers are only stored or processed within our private network isolated from public network in Canada.
How will IVC ensure my personal information is stored safely?
IVC has strict security processes and procedures to ensure customer information is safe from theft, loss or any unauthorized access.
IVC has a very strong IT support team working together with the in-house development team to utilize all the different kinds of software/hardware firewall and systems to ensure all customer’s information in our possession and control are secured. IVC only uses private network to store all the customer data and information, and we do not subcontract to any third party for such tasks unless we are sure that there is a comparable level of protection used for the process.
